Proceeds from the sale of this item go directly towards funding animal rescue efforts in my hometown in Brazil, where there are no services or shelter available. The population of abandoned cats and dogs on the streets is huge and they need our help.
The original woodcarving art was made by a third generation wood carver from our state of Ceará, where this art form is very popular.
